The improvements under this contract consist of the construction of four lanes of CR 578 (County Line Road) on a new northern alignment tying into US 41 at Ayers Road, including an 11-foot multi-use path connecting to the Suncoast Trail and accommodating future widening to three lanes in each direction.
County Line Road is realigned to meet the new intersection; properties south of County Line Road are accessed by the existing road, ending in a new cul-de-sac. The new alignment proceeds north through the Trillium community, then turns east to US 41 at the existing Ayers Road intersection.
Project elements include milling/resurfacing, new roadway construction, drainage including ponds, signalized intersections, sidewalk, driveways, striping (including thermoplastic), and utilities including 12″ and 16″ water mains.
