CEI Services for the I-75 / Wildwood Interchange Modification

This project consists of widening I-75 in both directions, from the north end of the District 5 I-75 widening project to SR 44, and reconstructing the congested merge and weave between northbound Florida’s Turnpike and I-75.

Project Scope

The Turnpike northbound ramp is channelized for a safer exit to SR 44. For traffic traveling south on I-75 that must weave to southbound Turnpike, the existing ramp is extended and a new flyover ramp constructed over I-75 to safely carry traffic to the Turnpike, southbound.

The existing I-75 bridges, northbound and southbound over SR 44, are modified inside-to-inside to close the longitudinal gap, with the northbound ramp lengthened from SR 44 to enter I-75, along with drainage modifications and new stormwater ponds.
